What to Use for Your Skin Type

Here you will find all you need to start blossoming clean, healthy, vibrant skin for your specific skin type. Below is a comprehensive list for every common type of skin...male or female. Follow your skin type regimen with the recommended products to produce the best results.

 

Sensitive Skin:

For those experiencing redness, inflammation or broken capillaries.

Morning Regimen -
1. Use a gentle oatmeal or hypoallergenic cleanser, or just simply splash clean lukewarm water onto face.
2. Mist a few sprays of my Be Happy - Detoxifying Toner onto face.
3. Massage a dime size amount of my Potion No.1 - Age Defying Serum evenly all over face, (avoiding eye area) and let set for 1-2 minutes.
4. Press 1-2 drops of my Be Clean - Detoxifying Elixir evenly into skin.
5. Apply your favorite sunscreen/block, preferably something with a 6-10% Zinc. (My personal favorite is Jane Iredale's loose mineral powder, spf 20. Acts as a foundation and UVA/UVB protectant)
6. Mist my Be Happy - Detoxifying Toner throughout the day, anytime you need a pick me up.

Evening Regimen -
1. Use a gentle oatmeal or hypoallergenic cleanser, or just simply splash clean lukewarm water onto skin to rid your skin of all dirt, makeup and sunscreen.
3. Every 2-3 days, mist my Be Happy - Detoxifying Toner on gauze or cotton pad and wipe any areas of excess build up.
4. Apply a dime to nickel size amount (about half dropper full) of my Be Calm Brightening C Serum and massage evenly into skin.
5. Take 3-4 drops of my Be Clean - Detoxifying Elixir and press evenly into skin (optional if experiencing oiliness).
6. For dry/sensitive skin, use your favorite moisturizer and massage evenly all over skin.


Normal/Oily Skin:

For those feeling balanced most of the time, with the occasionally breakout or mid day shine.
Morning Regimen -
1. Splash face with lukewarm water.
2. Take a small amount of my Just Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Soap Bar and gently massage into skin, avoiding eye area and rinse off well.  Pat dry.
3. Massage a dime size amount of my Potion No.1 - Age Defying Serum evenly all over face, (avoiding eye area) and let set for 1-2 minutes.
4. Apply your favorite sunscreen/block, preferably something with a 6-10% Zinc. (My personal favorite is Jane Iredale's loose mineral powder, spf 20. Acts as a foundation and UVA/UVB protectant).

1. Rinse skin well with lukewarm water.
2. Rub a small amount of my J ust Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Soap Bar directly onto skin, massage into any areas of congestion or build up (avoiding eye area). Rinse well. Pat dry.
3. *Use my Just Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Masque 1x a week for 10-20minutes. Rinse off well and remove remaining masque with a wet wash cloth.
4. Mist my Be Happy - Brightening Toner or my Be Clean - Detoxifying Toner on gauze, wiping any areas of concern.
5. Apply a dime to nickel size amount (about half dropper full) of my Be Calm - Brightening C Serum and massage evenly into skin.


Oily/Acneic Skin:

For those experiencing regular break through shine and consistent breakouts and/or blackhead issues.

PRODUCTS USED:  J ust Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Soap Bar,  Be Clean - Detoxifying Toner,  Potion No.1 - Age Defying Serum,  Just Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Masque,  Be Clean - Detoxifying Elixir

Morning Regimen -
1. Rinse skin well and apply my J ust Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Soap Bar onto any congested areas (avoiding eye area).  Massage into a nice lather and rinse well or remove with a gentle wash cloth.
2. Mist face with my Be Clean - Detoxifying Toner.
3. Massage a dime size amount of my Potion No.1 - Age Defying Serum evenly all over face, (avoiding eye area) and let set for 1-2 minutes.
4. Apply a healthy, light weight sunscreen.  Preferably one with Zinc. (My Personal favorites for your skin type: Epicuren's zinc 27; light weight, hypoallergenic, great for a moisturizer and sunblock in one, will NOT clog your pores or make you look pasty white. OR Jane Iredale's pressed powder spf 20; this powder protects you from the sun, while giving you coverage and preventing oiliness and breakouts.  You can actually press this product into your skin and kill bacteria! Just find your right color).

Evening Regimen -
1. Rinse face well from day's dirt, sunblock and/or makeup.
2. Massage my ust Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Soap Bar into congested areas (avoiding eye area).  Lather and cleanse entire face for 1 minute, rinse well or remove with a clean wash cloth.
3. *Use my Just Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Masque 2-3xs a week for 10-15minutes as a scrub and OR a masque.
Scrub: take a dime to nickel size and massage well into skin, rinse off after 3-5 minutes. Rinse off well and remove remaining masque with a wet wash cloth.
Masque: use a quarter size and massage well into skin, remove after 10-15 minutes. Rinse off well and remove remaining masque with a wet wash cloth. (It's normal to get some blood flow from the active herbs which are flushing toxins and bringing new cells to the surface).
4. If broken out, spray my Be Clean - Detoxifying Toner onto a gauze pad and wipe congested areas.
5. Massage 2-4 drops of my Be Clean - Detoxifying Elixir and press evenly into skin.


Dry, Mature and/or Environmentally Damaged Skin:

For those who feel dry, dehydrated or over 35  years of age and are experiencing a shift in their skin's texture, evenness and hydration levels.

PRODUCTS USED:  Be Happy - Brightening Toner,  J ust Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Soap Bar,  Potion No.2 - Age Defying Serum,  Just Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Masque,  Be Calm - Brightening C Serum,  Be Clean - Detoxifying Elixir

Morning Regimen -
1. Splash your skin with fresh lukewarm water and/or mist with my  Be Happy - Brightening Toner. (Only cleanse with cream cleanser or my J ust Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Soap Bar if feeling dirty).
2. Apply a dime to nickel size of my Potion No.2 - Anti-ageing Serum, evenly all over face and neck line, (avoiding eye area) and let sit for 2-5minutes for the best lifting and toning results.
3. Always apply sunscreen and/or sunblock of 20-50 SPF please!  Always wear a hat and reapply sunscreen between 10am-3pm if out and about walking and/or driving.
5. Mist my Be Happy - Brightening Toner  throughout the day to refresh and re-hydrate your skin.

Evening Regimen -
1. Massage a gentle milk or cream cleanser into skin to remove all dirt, sunscreen and/or makeup from the day.
2. Use very small amount of my J ust Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Soap Bar to deep clean skin and pores, avoid eye area. Rise well. Pat Dry.
3. Use a thick layer of my Just Add Sugar - Cacao Herbal Masque 1x a week for 15-20 minutes for best results. Rinse off well and remove remaining masque with a wet wash cloth.
4. Apply a dime to nickel size amount (about half dropper full) of my Be Calm Brightening C Serum and massage evenly into skin.
5. Massage 2-4 drops of my Be Clean - Detoxifying Elixir and press evenly into skin.
6. End with your favorite moisturizer.
